Everyday Exercise: What to Do When on the FastBeach Diet

Aim to introduce HIT three times a week. You can choose which days—as we’ve seen, there’s no reason to avoid exercise on a Fast Day. But find a balance that seems to work for you. Again, apply the motivator that this is just for six weeks: it’s a means to an end. You may well find that exercise, in whatever form, soon becomes an integral and enjoyable part of your life.

On two other days, introduce strengthening exercises whenever and wherever you can. Five minutes of push-ups and planks before bed. A half-hour yoga session before you start work. Lunges and crunches in front of your favorite TV show. Whatever you can do, do. Just ensure that you have two rest days, free of exercise.
